Working with LGBTQIA+ Young People

This course prepares workers in youth, community, and human services to engage effectively and affirmingly with LGBTQIA+ young people. Learners will explore the experiences of LGBTQIA+ young people in Australia, the unique challenges they face in relation to identity, family, school, and mental health, and develop skills to provide safe, affirming, and informed support in a range of settings.
